Finding the Connection Between Chronic Disease and Hidden Oral Infections   (SOLD OUT)

Our patients` oral health will have a PROFOUND influence on their overall systemic health journey. Effectively integrating Oral and Dental health together with Systemic Health and Nutrition into the comprehensive treatment of our patients can have profound positive effects on health outcomes. We have seen a HUGE increase in chronic inflammatory diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disorders and cancer. The current published literature shows a strong association between these systemic diseases and oral disease and infection. In many cases, this may even be a causative association. As dentists, we may be contributing to the problem by using toxic materials and failing to eradicate hidden infections. In this presentation, we`ll provide dental professionals with the knowledge needed to feel confident evaluating oral health conditions and knowing what steps to recommend to their patients so they can eliminate the things in the mouth that are making them sick.

In this presentation we will discuss:
• What effect can toxic materials can have on overall health and what steps can a health-focused Dentist take to SAFELY remove them?
• What are some common sources of infections in the jaws and teeth and how do we deal with these "hidden infections"?
o What does the published endodontic and medical literature say about Root Canal therapy?
o What does the published Oral Surgery literature say about Fatty-degenerative Osteonecrosis or "cavitations" and why they occur.
• TMJ...How imbalances in the jaw joint and muscles can cause chronic stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system and impede healing.
• Sleep Disordered Breathing and Sleep Apnea is associated with many chronic health problems. What can a Biologic Dentist do to control and RESOLVE these issues?
• How do we know what materials the dentist can use for your treatment? (Biocompatibility testing)
